A project of Aileen Treusch which combines the inherent expressiveness of artworks or artist with associative thoughts of people who have a lot and important things to say:

Man and art are mutually dependent. It is often surprising how little space is given to people (artist and viewer) when it comes to forms of presentation within museums, galleries, exhibitions. Prêt-à-parler shares individual associations and thoughts gained from a sustained and personal focus on art. The project therefore combines the inherent expressiveness of each artwork or artist with the associative thoughts of people; people who have a lot and important things to say, people who get involved and people who deal with very different topics in their everyday life, such as natural science, design, art criticism, psychology, humanitarian commitment, cultural work, digitization, theater, improvisation.
The digital platform is a hybrid that gives space to both – art and people who experience it. It becomes clear that in times of separation we are not left without art, because even if we cannot experience it physically, it is part of our mindset and our identity. The project invites you to pause for a moment, to dig out precious memories and to reflect, to associate and think back about times of coming together. Prêt-à-parler shows a range of media, including video, photography, painting and works on paper and reflects each work through a personal lense from todays perspective.

Mensch und Kunst bedingen sich gegenseitig. Es ist daher etwas überraschend, wie wenig Raum dem Menschen (Künstlerin und Betrachterin) eingeräumt wird, wenn es um Präsentationsformen von Kunst geht, sei es in Museen, Galerien oder in Ausstellungen. Prêt-à-parler teilt individuelle Assoziationen und Gedanken, die sich aus einem anhaltenden und persönlichen Fokus auf Kunst ergeben. Das Projekt kombiniert die Ausdruckskraft von Kunstwerken mit den assoziativen Gedanken der Menschen. Menschen, die viel und wichtiges zu sagen haben, Menschen, die sich engagieren und Menschen, die sich in ihrem täglichen Leben mit unterschiedlichen Themen befassen, wie etwa Naturwissenschaften, Design, Kunstkritik, Psychologie, Kulturarbeit, Digitalisierung, Theater und Improvisation.
Das Projekt stellt eine digitale, hybride Plattform dar, die sowohl der Kunst als auch dem Menschen Raum bietet. Auch wenn wir Kunst in Zeiten der Trennung physisch nicht erleben können, verbleiben wir nicht ohne sie, denn Kunst ist längst Teil unserer Denkweise und unserer Identität. Das Projekt lädt dazu ein, einen Moment innezuhalten, wertvolle Erinnerungen auszukramen und zu reflektieren, zu assoziieren und über Zeiten des Zusammenkommens und des gemeinsamen Austauschs nachzudenken. Prêt-à-parler zeigt eine Reihe von Medien, darunter Video, Fotografie, Malerei und Arbeiten auf Papier, und reflektiert jede Arbeit aus heutiger Sicht durch einen persönlichen Blickwinkel.
